Thai Elephant Conservation Center

The Thai Elephant Conservation Center is located in the Mae Sa valley, outside Chiang Mai, Thailand. Here, they have elephant rides and a show featuring elephants painting, playing musical instruments, and playing soccer. This place does practice conservation, so I was interested to see as there are less reputable places in the area that treat these animals very poorly.

I passed on taking an elephant ride (just not my idea of fun) and took these photos.
